few days ago, I had the opportunity to attend the event TEDxGalicia in Santiago.
As many of you know, TED is an event worldwide, where through an NGO, seeks to be a speaker to the world of inspiring ideas, in which experts in all fields of science, the arts, entrepreneurs and thinkers in the world, (not final series), causing connections made inspiring presentations and perceptions with the public in an auditorium at a time less than 20 minutes. The format is fresh, making it a very lively event.
The TED page, there are many videos posted that you can watch for free, have a choice of subtitles, which often help ...
I remember a few months, wrote in a blog post about one of these videos that fascinated me, the author was Benjamin Zander and titled "Raising his eyes to shine" recommend it for anyone who has not seen. It's exciting.
This year was the first edition in Galicia, and I'm sure after the success will be the first of many ediciones.Haciendo a brief summary of the speakers who had the pleasure of seeing: Joaquin

Santiago Vazquez, also an expert in HR, we presented the model that once created and implemented for R, a leading company in telecommunications, no doubt, to anyone you feel like working in a company as well.
After a break for coffee, it was the turn of the founder of the newspaper O Xornal, Jose Luis Gomez Talking about the bias of the media today, without doubt, an issue that would for a talk at length ... Emilio Fernandez
, ecologist, really scared me. He showed us a world clock that featured different real-time rates, the number of deaths, births, waste generation, deforestation in the world .... just watch vertigo was undoubtedly shocking and help raise awareness of how we are busting the planet we live on.
event ended with the exposure of Jose Manuel Iglesias, a charming man, a navengante, who was able to reinvent himself, and create a company of assemblies for playgrounds, Urchin. Sometimes to do something, do not need more than enthusiasm and desire.
And so was the end of this great event, my congratulations to all the organizers who made this possible, and waiting for the event TEDxGalicia 2011 is again a success.
