Before anything, it's best to explain what is the IP of a computer, right?. This term, IP stands for "Internet Protocol", ie internet protocol used for communicating data across a packet network combined. It is as it were, the identity card of your computer.
There are two types of IP:
- PUBLIC IP : a single IP that identifies our network from the outside.
And for you to know yours, you can visit the website www.cual-is-my-ip.net and so you know.
- PRIVATE IP : identifying a device connected to our internal network and have mapped on your computer and is used when we need to open ports on the router.
Private Ip To find out what we have, we do the following:
1 º Come to "Start" and click on "Run" which spell out the word cmd, giving then press "Enter."
2 ° There'll be a computer screen, black where to write ipconfig where the cursor blinks and give back to enter. 3 º Expected
a jiffy, will get a retail paragraph where some data appear, among which is "Ip Address".
